In 1994, three companies (Remam, known today as Bosch, SACHSAUTOMOTIVE and TRW Automotive) created in Brazil an association with the main goal of show to the user the remanufacturing concept and the advantages of a remanufactured product on the maintenance of vehicles. This association is named ANRAP (National Association of  Remanufacturing for Auto Parts).

Today, ANRAP is a reference of remanufacturing in Brazil, composed only by multinational companies mostly located in São Paulo state. They focused mainly in these products to remanufacturer: diesel engine, clutches, alternators and starters, compressors for brake system, transmissions, disk brake and steering.
